I have brown curly hair and a laugh like Basil Brush.
Bought my first HiFi separates from my best friend when I was about 15 or 16.
Studied music technology and got into studio audio gear. I always keep a hold of my HiFi roots as some studio gear sounds rubbish yet people buy into it because its "Professional".
I also don't buy into pretentious, megabucks HiFi because I know how reasonable Pro Audio can cost. Here lies the dilemma and surfing the line.
My best buddy got into hiring PA systems so his HiFi got much bigger than mine.
Together we still pursue Audio Mecca.
Refueled recently by some classic turntable purchases.
He got a Trio L-07D - an engineering masterpiece which I'm jealous of.
I just bought a Technics SP10 and found you guys while looking for plinth advice.
I like to think I let my ears have the last say...
